Apply your creative writing and website management skills to coordinate information sharing and modernize information on the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests website.
Hone your web content writing skills all while learning about the diverse species and habitats, special projects, and boundless recreation opportunities on National Forest Lands in Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky. The intern in this position will have the opportunity to focus their work on any of a number of projects aimed at improving information sharing on the Forest website. Projects could include writing recreation site descriptions, developing feature stories for the Learning Center, researching resources for parents and teachers, collecting and sharing plant and animal info pages, working with resource managers to develop short feature stories for a non-science audience that highlight interesting projects and partnerships.
