This is an UNPAID volunteer position for a yoga instructor. The yoga facilitator is expected to implement a culturally and age appropriate yoga activity for a class of approximately 10-20 students for approximately 30-50 minutes, infusing principals of trauma informed care and social emotional asset development. Given the varied English levels and formal education experiences of the student body, the facilitator will be flexible and comfortable with using various methods for engaging with English Language Learners (ELLs).

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have availability to be on site to teach in Union, NJ for 3 set dates (Wednesdays and Thursdays) in the month of August, 2021.

  • Comfortable working with wide range of ages (youth)
  • Certified Yoga Instructor
  • Comfortable working with English Language Learners
  • Experience in trauma informed care and social emotional asset development preferred
